From website design to brand upgrade

It is always satisfying to exceed expectations and go beyond the brief. This project started as a standard website to inform patients about dry-eye disease and the solutions against it. We wanted the experience to be informative, to build a connection with the audience, and to represent Santen’s motto: “Happiness with Vision.”

We designed a character to embody this vision. Watty was born to represent the combination of natural design and human intelligence. He drives and supports patients toward a healthier and brighter version of themselves. The feedback was so positive that Santen included the character in their brand guideline to be further utilized in all their communication material.
